Pub Lunches
The
Farmhouse Restaurant serves typically English Pub lunches with
West Coast flavour! Favourite choices include best Ploughman’s Platter, lambs liver with mash and lamb curry. The menu is extensive and patrons are not limited to the smaller pub style lunches but can order a variety of generous dishes from the main menu too. With not a pretentious element in sight, the fare is hearty and generous. Meals at The Farmhouse Restaurant have a quality that appeals to people from all walks of life and evoke reminiscing over grandmothers’ kitchen. |

Sunday Lunches
Sunday lunches in the West Coast are a tradition of families
and friends coming together to laugh, eat, drink and then
nap! Hence the popularity of The Farmhouse Restaurant
3 course Sunday lunches. Lunches can be enjoyed in the shelter
of the function room or on the terrace on a windless day. This
event is well attended by locals and tourists who all appreciate
the affordability, great taste and sense of tradition. |

Tea
If you manage to tear yourself away from your day’s activities and find yourself at The Farmhouse Hotel at tea-time, then we recommend you treat yourself to tea and scones. You’re sure to satiate your mid-afternoon hunger pangs with our giant freshly baked scones with whipped cream and homemade jam. Take your tea on the terrace and watch the boats drift out on the lagoon when the sun hangs lower in the sky and illuminates the water. |

Dinners
The dinner menu at The Farmhouse Restaurant is rich with satisfying meals, from simple to hearty, perennial favourites, to local West Coast fare. With three cuts of steak, you can be assured of satisfying your meat cravings, and favourites such as the oxtail are worth coming for alone! Our seafood comes straight from the boats on the West Coast and meals range from creamy mussels to catch of the day. Your waitress will surprise you with an ever changing dessert menu or wind down with an aged port in the bar before you retire but only after a scoop of our famous homemade ice-cream |

Bar
The bar is a nostalgic venue with accents of antiques, exposed beams and wooden furniture. Enjoy an aperitif at the bar before your meal and fend off the evening by warming yourself at the crackling fire. Be sure to enhance the mellow feeling you have after a meal with a fine digestif or after dinner drink. The bar stocks bottles of imported armagnacs, sherries, cognacs, brandies and whiskies as well as a popular South African digestif selection. The bar is also the perfect venue for watching sport where you can enjoy a beer and a pub lunch whilst supporting your favourite team. |
